Working Principle
During operation of the XFD single cell flotation machine, due to the negative pressure created by the rotation of the impeller, the pulp inside the front compartment will be sucked into the impeller, forming a recirculation.Air is drawn in to form fine bubbles, and mineral particles adhere to the bubbles and rise to form a mineralized froth layer.
The scraper mechanism guides the froth into the froth launder. Based on its gradient and structural design, the launder directs the froth to flow smoothly and discharge under gravity, while regulating flow rate and reducing impurity entrainment to achieve stable collection and separation of the concentrate.

Advantages
1.Collects concentrate froth intensively, prevents splashing and loss, and ensures flotation recovery rate and accuracy of experimental data.
2.Provides stable flow guidance through its inclined structure and gravity, ensuring smooth froth flow without accumulation or blockage.
3.Properly controls froth flow velocity and flow state, reduces gangue and impurity entrainment, and improves concentrate grade.
4.Facilitates rapid sampling, testing and process optimization in the laboratory, adapting to the batch experimental characteristics of single cell units.
5.Features a simple and compact structure with high visibility for intuitive observation of froth conditions, and is easy to operate and maintain.

Difference from Multi-Cell Flotation Machines
Multi-cell flotation machines are mostly used in continuous flotation processes, where pulp and froth flow sequentially between cells for stage-wise cleaning. Continuous production is usually realized through inter-cell overflow or communicating structures. Therefore, they do not need to be equipped with an independent froth launder for batch sampling and discharging like single-cell laboratory flotation machines.
