How to reduce the purchase cost of thickener tank

In order to reduce the purchase cost of a thickener tank for a mining company, ZJH minerals do it by the idea of produce the parts in client site, and sending exprienced engineer for guiding installation in client site.

The following steps are carried out:

1. ZJH minerals supply the tank and the support frame drawing for free, and the client himself purchase the steel plate for the tank body and structural steels for the support frame at his local place.

In the mining industry, the tank of big diameter is always adopted for mining thickener. Such as 15m, 18m, 24m, etc. It is impossible to transport these tank if we weld them together in our workshop. So we will send the tank body drawing to the client and list the specification of these steel plates and parts in details. Then the client purchase these steel plates and parts in their local place.

2. ZJH minerals will produce the transmission shaft and beam in our workshop.

The transmission shaft is the core parts of the thickener tank. It is related with the hydraulic drive system and the electric control parts. It can not be manufactured at site. So we will produce it in our workshop and then deliver to the client sites. Because the above parts in low weight and small dimenison, it will take low transportation cost.

3. ZJH minerals will send the experienced engineer to client’s site for guiding installation.

ZJH minerals will list the tools and materials like welding machine, hand cutting machine, etc. All of the tools may be available by the mining company. Then our engineer will guide the client’s workers to cutting the steel plates and structural steels for the thickener on the drawing we have supply. Then the welders will weld the steel plates together for the tank body

4. Assembly the tank body, support frame structures and the beam together for finishing the installation.

First, our engineer will guide to install the support legs and steel structures together as the below picture. These picture shows a 12m thickener installtion process.

Then the welded tank will be lifted by a crane on the support legs and steel structures. Then the welders will weld them together. At the end, the beam and transmission shaft will be installed in the tank body.
