To enhance the capacity of lithium batteries, the research and development of negative electrode materials are of great significance. Using laboratory reactor vessel for small-scale production of negative electrode materials is an effective method.
In this case, a certain negative electrode materials manufacturer used a 50L laboratory reactor as a small-scale experimental device to produce negative electrode materials in small batches.
Using ethanol as the solvent, graphite powder and silicon are added to the ethanol. In the reactor vessel, heat the material to 70 degrees and stir it thoroughly to ensure that graphite and silicon react and coalesce fully.
This reactor vessel adopts a jacket structure and is heated by heat transfer oil. During the heating process, make the ethanol evaporate. To recover ethanol, this reactor is equipped with a condenser and an ethanol collection tank, which enables the reuse of ethanol and reduces production costs.
After 24 to 48 hours of heating and stirring, the ethanol is completely evaporated. Finally, powdered lithium battery negative electrode materials are obtained in the reaction vessel.
