Lime Slaking Drum

Lime slaking drum will make the quick lime block to be slurry lime.  It could be adopted for oxidation leaching of carbon in pulp (CIP)  for recovery of gold. The Lime slaker is also used for wastewater treatment.

Working Principle 

The motor connected with reducer.  The reducer will drive the small gear.  The small gear will drive the big gear equipped on the drum.

By the feed open to add material ( quick lime), less than 6mm of the material go through the bar screening of the feed open, more than 6mm of quick lime through the spiral plate of the rotary cylinder to go into the drum, add water. The spiral plate in the drum is continuously pushed forward, that is the slurry milk lime after slaking, through the continuous feeding of quick lime, sieving and discharging of the cycle processes to achieve the purpose of lime slaking.
