Tap Sieve Shaker

Application

The  tap sieve shaker is a high-precision sieving machine, widely used in laboratories of chemical industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, mining industry, universities and factories for sieving various materials.

Structure and Principle

  1. The machine uses a motor flat belt pulley to drive the eccentric swing mechanism, which drives the sieve frame to rotate in a regular elliptical trajectory. According to the material classification requirements, 1-8 layers of sieve frames can be optionally installed. The upper part drives the tap arm to tap regularly through the spiral bevel bearing ejector rod mechanism, so that materials that are difficult to sieve can be separated smoothly under the action of swing and tap vibration, significantly improving sieving efficiency and precision.
  2. The machine adopts an electronic numerical control operation panel with digital display timing, which can accurately and conveniently adjust the sieving time each time, and record the number of taps and swings each time.

Installation of Sieve Frame

The machine is equipped with standard sieve frames (¢200×50) conforming to GB/T6003.1-2022.

Installation Steps

  1. Loosen the set screw of the sieve frame bottom bracket at the lower part of the column, and push the bracket down.
  2. Place the required sieve frames on the bottom bracket, cover the top cover, push the bracket up until the upper positioning part is fully in place, and then lock the set handle.

Removal of Sieve Frame

  1. Lift the percussion arm first.
  2. Loosen the set handle of the column bottom frame bracket, push it down, and take out the sieve frames.

Closing the Tap Arm

Position B is an eccentric locking pin. First pull out the locking pin outward, lift the percussion arm A, rotate the locking pin to lift and lock the percussion arm, and then the percussion function can be stopped.

Daily Maintenance

Do not directly rinse the whole machine with tap water.

There are high-voltage electrical components, so beware of electric shock.

For cleaning, only use a cloth dipped in water. Solvents are prohibited.

  1. Keep the equipment clean. Clean the sieve mesh with a brush in time after each use. For sieve mesh materials that are difficult to clean, ultrasonic bath cleaning is recommended.
  2. Regularly add light lubricating oil to the tap arm and rotating spiral ejector rod mechanism.
  3. After the equipment stops running, cut off the power supply in time when personnel leave.
  4. When plugging or unplugging the power cord, hold the plug tightly; do not pull the wire.

Packaging and Transportation

The transportation packaging of this equipment complies with GB Technical Specification for General Transportation Packaging of Mechanical Equipment.

If the equipment is damaged due to improper packaging and transportation, affecting its use, claims shall be made according to the liability.

Transportation

For transportation hoisting, fasten the equipment to the base with 4 special M20×150 bolts as shown in the figure below for hoisting. Net weight: about 75 kg.

Inversion or side placement is not allowed during transportation.  Stacking and throwing are not allowed during transportation.

Temperature Change

If the temperature changes greatly (e.g., during air transportation), prevent condensation water; otherwise, electronic components may be damaged.

Equipment Installation

Parameters of Installation Site

  • Ambient temperature: 5°C to 40°C
  • Altitude: below 3000m
  • Maximum relative humidity: 80%

If the ambient temperature is lower or higher than these values, electrical and mechanical components may be damaged, and performance data may change to an unknown extent.

The equipment should be installed on a workbench of appropriate height, calibrated to a horizontal position without inclination. The 4 feet should be in stable contact with the workbench without vibration. The power socket must match the machine, and the equipment must be reliably grounded.
